L.A. County approves $43.8M for new affordable housingPartial funding for projects in L.A., West Hollywood, and Whittier ![]() The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has approved nearly $43.8 million in loans for affordable housing developments located in the Cities of Los Angeles, West Hollywood, and Whittier. The money represents a portion of the total $562 million necessary to complete the projects. When leveraged with other sources, the proposed developments could create a total of 687 new affordable homes for seniors, families, and homeless persons.
