Plan Commission approves development at 3611 N. HalstedThe 12-story building will have 188 apartments and a cafe  The Chicago Plan Commission has approved a mixed-use development at 3611 N. Halsted. Planned by local developer David Gassmann of DLG Development, the project site is located midblock between W. Addison St and W. Waveland Ave. The property is currently a vacant lot after the one-story commercial structure was demolished back in 2024.
